Adopt-A-Program
You can make a difference by supporting one of the following programs at St. Thomas the Apostle School. Our school has become synonymous with spiritual and academic excellence in education. Our diversity of curricular and co-curricular programs develop the entire child and create the opportunities for them to excel. It is becoming more and more expensive to maintain these excellent enriching programs in a financially-restricted reality.
"All Wisdom From The Lord God", is more than our motto. Elementary education is the foundation of our entire education system. It is here where children learn effective study habits, proper Catholic values, and the love and thirst for knowledge. We especially need to maintain academic and spiritual excellence in the inner city where our combined efforts can truly make the difference today and the future!
Science Enrichment
Full, half, or partial sponsorship of the Dr. James Peter Science Laboratory experiments/projects.
Modernization of Library
The modernization of the Charlie Steinmetz/Wonder of Reading Library has been identified as a need.
Technology Makeover
Full, half or partial sponsorship of technological upgrades of individual classrooms and computer labs has been identified as a dire need.
Fine Arts/Spring Musical
Our Fine Arts/Spring Musical program began 18 years ago when a volunteer student from Mt. Saint Mary's College organized an elaborate high-school quality production with professional musicians, lights and stage decorations. Now, the program is in the hands of alumns that once participated in our Fine Arts/Spring Musical program. The has performed Godspell, Annie, Once on this Island, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wiz, and Curtains. The costs of these highly detailed productions are pricey.
